1. 雅思溫州考點搬遷

1月7日，教育部考試中心IELTS考試報名網發布了《關于2020年1月起浙江教育考試服務中心（溫州）雅思考點搬遷的通知》。通知內容如下：

接英國文化教育協會通知，浙江教育考試服務中心(溫州)雅思考點將從2020年1月11日起從溫州市學院中路276號搬遷至溫州市甌海區茶山高教園區溫州商學院，變更后的考點名稱為浙江教育考試服務中心(溫州商學院)。詳情請登錄報名網站查看考點信息。

2. Nature Index公布2020全球學術排名

2020年1月3日，Nature指數公布了2018年10月1日到2019年9月30日大學/機構學術排名。

自然指數于2014年11月首次發布，追蹤高質量自然科學期刊所發表的科研論文的作者信息。自2018年6月起，納入指數的期刊數量已由68本增至82本。

在本次全球排名中，中國科學院排名第1，參與排名的兩大數據均遠高于哈佛大學。另外，北大、清華也擠進前10，分別排名第9和第10。這是北大今年第一次排進前10，表現可圈可點。1. 中國科學院-中國

Yangtze imposes fishing ban

長江流域迎10年禁漁期

China on Wednesday began a 10-year fishing ban on key areas of the Yangtze River to protect biodiversity in the country's longest river, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs.

農業和農村事務部稱，1月1日，我國針對長江的重點水域開啟為期10年的禁漁令，以保護這條國內最長河流的生物多樣性。

Starting from this year, the ban will be observed in 332 conservation areas in the Yangtze River basin, which will also be expanded to all natural waterways of the river and its major tributaries from no later than Jan 1, 2021.

自2020年起，長江流域332個保護區全面禁止生產性捕撈；最遲自2021年1月1日零時起，禁漁范圍將擴大至所有長江干流和重要支流天然水域。

Fishing will also be prohibited on natural waterways of large lakes connected to the Yangtze such as the Dongting Lake and Poyang Lake for 10 years starting from no later than Jan 1, 2021.

對鄱陽湖、洞庭湖等與長江相連的大型通江湖泊天然水域，最遲自2021年1月1日零時起實行為期10年的常年禁捕。

Satellite positioned in orbit

實踐20號衛星成功定點

China's heaviest and most advanced satellite, Shijian-20, reached its fixed position in geosynchronous orbit Sunday, marking the first successful flight of DFH-5 satellite platform, according to the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation.

據中國航天科技集團公司消息，我國發射的重量最重、技術含量最高的衛星——實踐二十號衛星5日成功定點地球同步軌道，標志著東方紅五號衛星平臺首飛取得成功。

The Shijian-20 satellite is the first verification satellite for DFH-5 satellite platform, China's new generation of large geosynchronous orbit satellite platform. The Shijian-20 satellite was launched into space by the third Long March-5 rocket, China's largest carrier rocket on Dec 27, 2019.

實踐二十號衛星是我國新一代大型同步軌道衛星平臺東方紅五號首飛的試驗星。2019年12月27日，實踐二十號衛星由我國最大運載火箭長征五號遙三發射升空。

It has carried out orbit experiments for series of key technologies. Shijian-20 has the largest solar wings among all China's satellites, with the total wingspan 10 meters wider than that of a Boeing 737 aircraft. The solar wings have unfolded twice, and the increased solar wing area will supply the satellite with abundant power.

該衛星已開展一系列關鍵技術的軌道實驗。實踐二十號衛星擁有我國所有衛星中最大的太陽翼，比波音737飛機的翼展還要寬10米。其太陽翼已展開兩次，增加的翼展面積將能為衛星提供充足的電流。

Pneumonia cases could rise

武漢通報不明肺炎疫情

The number of cases of unknown viral pneumonia in Wuhan, Hubei province, is expected to continue rising as expanded efforts are made to identify suspected victims, local authorities said on Monday, adding disease prevention and control measures will be improved with more knowledge of the virus.

武漢市相關部門6日表示，隨著對不明原因的病毒性肺炎病例的搜索范圍的擴大，預計病例數量還會有所增加。有關部門還表示，隨著對該疾病的了解更加深入，防控措施將會隨之調整完善。

On Sunday, the Wuhan Health Commission said in a statement that the pneumonia was not Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome or bird flu, and they were still working to identify the source and cause of the outbreak. There is no evidence that the disease could be transmitted among humans, it said.

武漢市衛健委5日發布通報稱，不明原因肺炎目前已排除嚴重急性呼吸綜合癥(SARS)、中東呼吸綜合癥、禽流感等，病原鑒定和病因溯源工作仍在進一步進行中，并未發現明確的人傳人證據。

The commission said 59 cases had been reported as of Sunday, and seven victims are in critical condition. All the patients are under quarantine and receiving treatment in medical institutions in the city.

武漢市衛健委表示，截至5日，武漢市共報告符合不明原因的病毒性肺炎診斷患者59例，其中重癥患者7例，目前所有患者均在武漢市醫療機構接受隔離治療。

Made-in-China Tesla vehicles

中國造特斯拉開始交付

US electric carmaker Tesla officially delivered the first batch of 10 made-in-China Model 3 sedans to the public Tuesday afternoon, one year after the company broke ground on its first overseas plant.

7日下午，美國電動汽車制造商特斯拉正式向公眾交付了首批10輛中國造Model 3型轎車。一年前，特斯拉第一家海外工廠破土動工。

The Shanghai plant started trial production in late October and is now producing 3,000 vehicles a week. Fifteen Tesla employees had received their vehicles in late December last year. The company also announced on Tuesday the launch of a project to manufacture Model Y vehicles in its Shanghai gigafactory.

去年10月下旬，特斯拉上海工廠開始試行生產，如今該廠每周可生產3000輛Model 3型轎車。去年12月下旬，特斯拉向其15名員工交付了Model 3型轎車。特斯拉7日還宣布在上海超級工廠啟動制造Model Y轎車的項目。

Tesla China's website shows that the Model Y could be produced as early as 2021. Last week Tesla cut the starting price for its China-made Model 3 sedans by 16% to 299,050 yuan after making it into the list of electric carmakers eligible for government subsidies. Prices of other models available in the Chinese market have been cut as well.

Free plane tickets giveaway

Japan Airlines is giving away 50,000 free round-trip domestic air tickets to international tourists this summer - but there's a catch. The giveaway aims to encourage tourists to see less visited parts of Japan, and perhaps take some of the strain off Tokyo between July 1 and Sept 30 this year as the capital hosts the Olympic Summer Games.

日本航空今年夏天將向國外游客免費送出5萬張國內往返機票，但有一個條件。這次機票贈送的目的是鼓勵游客去日本少有人旅游的地方，也許是為了在今年7月1日和9月30日期間減少首都東京的一部分壓力。屆時東京將舉辦夏季奧運會。

However to win free tickets, travelers must be registered outside of Japan with the flag carrier's Mileage Bank frequent flier program. The airline will recommend four local destinations to choose from, flying out of Haneda airport in Tokyo, or Osaka's Itami and Kansai airports.

Golden Globes 2020 winners

Quentin Tarantino's "once Upon a Time in Hollywood", along with HBO's "Succession" and "Chernobyl", and Amazon's "Fleabag" were the big winners on Sunday night at the 77th annual Golden Globe Awards.

Threats between US, Iran rise

伊朗將突破核協議限制

Iran on Sunday announced the fifth and final step to end its commitments to the landmark 2015 nuclear deal, official IRNA news agency reported. "In the fifth step of withdrawing from its commitments, the Islamic republic drops the last key restriction under the nuclear deal, namely 'restriction on the number of centrifuges'," IRNA cited the announcement by Iranian government as reading.

據伊朗國家通訊社報道，伊朗5日宣布進入中止履行2015年伊核協議的第五階段即最后階段。伊朗國家通訊社發布的政府聲明指出，在第五階段，伊朗將取消伊核協議最后一個關鍵性限制措施，即"對離心機數量的限制"。

Therefore, "Iran's nuclear program will no longer embrace any practical restrictions, including the level and purity of enrichment, the mass of enriched materials and R&D activities," read the announcement.

Iran attacks US airbases

Iran fired rockets at two air bases in Iraq that host American troops early Wednesday, hours after the funeral for an Iranian commander killed in a US drone strike.

8日凌晨，在美國無人機襲擊中喪生的伊朗高級指揮官蘇萊曼尼的葬禮結束數小時后，伊朗向駐有美軍的兩個伊拉克軍事基地發射數十枚導彈。

"The brave soldiers of IRGC's aerospace unit have launched a successful attack with tens of ballistic missiles on Al-Assad military base in the name of martyr General Qassem Soleimani," the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said in a statement.

伊朗伊斯蘭革命衛隊在一份聲明中稱："伊朗伊斯蘭革命衛隊空軍的英勇戰士已向阿薩德空軍基地成功發射數十枚導彈，代號為蘇萊曼尼烈士行動。"

Harry to quit royal life

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan will step back from senior roles in Britain's royal family and spend more time in North America, they said on Wednesday, an announcement that appears to have taken his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth and other royal family members, by surprise.

Ukrainian jet crash kills 176

烏客機伊朗墜毀176人亡

China on Wednesday expressed deep condolences to the victims of the Ukrainian Airlines plane crash and extended heartfelt sympathies to their families, according to a Foreign Ministry spokesperson. Reports said that a Ukrainian Airlines passenger plane, with 176 people on board, crashed Wednesday morning near Iran's Imam Khomeini International Airport shortly after taking off. All passengers and crew were killed.

據多家媒體報道，8日上午，烏克蘭航空公司一架載有176人的客機在伊朗德黑蘭霍梅尼國際機場起飛后不久墜毀，機上人員全部遇難。我國外交部發言人耿爽8日表示，中方對遇難者表示沉痛哀悼，對遇難者家屬表示深切慰問。

Spokesperson Geng Shuang said China hopes all relevant parties can ascertain the cause of the crash as soon as possible.

希望有關方面能夠盡快查清事故原因。

"The Chinese embassy and consulates in Ukraine have already contacted Ukrainian authorities to verify the situation," said Geng, adding that as of now, there is no report of Chinese citizens on the plane.

耿爽表示，墜機事故發生后，中國駐烏克蘭使領館已經聯系烏克蘭有關部門核實情況，目前尚未收到中國公民乘坐此次航班的通報。
