reserve a table for (phr.) 預(yù)約…的位子
去餐廳為了省去排隊(duì)時(shí)間，我們通常都會(huì)先打電話預(yù)約，而這個(gè)詞組就是預(yù)約時(shí)會(huì)用到的說法喔！reserve 是動(dòng)詞「預(yù)約，保留」的意思，后面要加上 a table 表示預(yù)訂一張桌子，若要表明預(yù)約幾個(gè)人的位子，則用介詞 for 后面接上人數(shù)即可，或是若要表明幾點(diǎn)，也可以在 for 后面直接接上時(shí)間。

有時(shí)候打電話去餐廳預(yù)約時(shí)難免會(huì)遇到當(dāng)天預(yù)定已滿的狀況，如果店員跟你說這句話的時(shí)候，你可能就要換間餐廳或是換個(gè)日期訂位啰！availability 是名詞，「可得性」的意思，其形容詞形是 available (可取得的)。
